Hinckley Homeless Group take their responsibility for safeguarding seriously. The main highlights of the safeguarding policy are:

• Everyone within Hinckley Homeless Group has a duty of care towards all young people who use its services.
• Everyone within Hinckley Homeless Group has a responsibility to be alert to potential Safeguarding situations and protect children and young people.
• The Designated Person (Molly Franklin), is responsible for ensuring that all staff are aware of how to report concerns , and to ensure all appropriate actions are taken, recorded and followed up.
• The Designated Safeguarding Trustee (Ann Pendlebury), is responsible for supporting and overseeing the actions of the Designated Person, and ensuring the policy is updated annually.
