I can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve helped me with in the past year. I will never forget the kindness and happiness that I have received.

Hinckley Homeless Group came together as a group of people interested in and concerned about homelessness.
Hinckley Homeless Group runs a supported accommodation for young homeless people between the ages of 16 and 25. Lawrence House is staffed 24 hours a day and has 12 bedrooms providing support for both male and females who can live here for up to 2yrs. The aim of Lawrence House is to be a safe and friendly environment in which one to one support is given to enable residents to learn independence, access help and advice and engage in meaningful occupation. As an independent local charity with no statutory funding we rely on the support of our local community, through one-off financial donations, regular standing orders and fundraising activities.
Lawrence House provides friendly, safe, good quality accommodation for up to 12 homeless people aged between 16-25 for up to 24 months. As well as providing accommodation Lawrence House aims to enable individuals to develop essential life skills, overcome significant challenges in their lives, engage with education, training and work, and grow in confidence. Lawrence House is owned by housing association, PAHousing.
Hinckley Homeless Group have a 3 bed move-on property. This provides an environment for young people aged between 18-26 years, who are ready for independence but need support in specific areas, such as mental health, budgeting, confidence or further embedding independent skills.
Residents who move on to independence from Hinckley Homeless Group are provided 6 months of resettlement support in their own tenancy to ensure their move-on is successful.
Application forms are available from Lawrence House or can be downloaded from our website. We are not emergency “open access” accommodation. All applicants need to complete an application form and attend an informal interview to assess their support needs and risks.
